Description

1 Chronicles 4:9 (NKJV)

…His mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”

Over an average lifespan of eighty years, you could hear your name called around 292,000 times. Someone said, “A person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.” But what if your name, instead of bringing joy, acts like a curse because of its meaning?

Names hold power. When Jesus was named, the angel declared, “You shall call His name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” Your name is a prophetic declaration spoken over you from birth—either for good or for harm. Take Jabez, for example. His mother named him “Sorrow” based on her pain, and it affected his life until he prayed for a change (1 Chronicles 4:10).

Discover the meaning of your name; reflect on how it has shaped your life. If your name's meaning works against you, take authority in prayer—and legally—to change its effect. Speak a new prophetic word over yourself and refuse to live under a name that limits your God-given purpose.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I am detached from every negative chain in my genealogy. I refuse to be a normal person. In the Name of Jesus, I loose every chain that the devil used to connect me to himself. I decree and declare any ancestral link to poverty, destruction or mediocrity is broken now! Hallelujah! Amen.
