DEEPER LIFE
Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Christians were never supposed to die. That is our reality. It may sound shocking because we have been conditioned by the world's system to believe death is ultimately inevitable, but we are not of this world. In today's scripture, the Bible tells us that death is a choice, and life is a choice. So he says, "choose life!" That means if you can choose life, you can decide not to die.
Physical death has become accepted in the church's culture; it has become normal to expect to die. Many preachers have quoted Hebrews 9:27 to justify death – "it is appointed unto men once to die." But that is not telling you that you must die. It simply gives us the number of times Christians should die: once. The Bible tells us Jesus died once for all men, and when He died, you died with Him. So, you already died once!
What is ordinary for the rest of the church is not ordinary for us who have chosen the deeper life. We do not normalise death and dying. In this year of Heaven On Earth, we choose not to die. Refuse death in Jesus Name!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I refuse death! I do not grow weak and sickly. My mind remains clear and alert. My body is vitalised by the Spirit of God, and it shall not fail. I will not die but live to see the rapture and the glorious coming of the Lord!
