Real Christianity, at its weakest level, looks like witchcraft. That may shock you, but it is true. The Christianity many have believed is a poor imitation of the real thing. The moment you begin to pray, you congeal fire. This is not a poetic metaphor or abstract idea; it’s a spiritual reality. Your prayers generate supernatural power that can shake the foundations of the enemy’s camp.
Elijah understood this. He didn’t offer the prophets of Baal a motivational speech or a soft rebuke. He called down fire from Heaven (1 Kings 18:38). Philip demonstrated the power of God until a witch doctor wanted to buy it and later begged for prayer (Acts 8:9-24).
Ask yourself: What kind of Christian am I? If the Christian life you’re living doesn’t make the powers of darkness tremble, it’s time to awaken to your true identity. Refuse to be a Christian in name only. Lay your life on the altar this year and be set ablaze with fire to display God’s power.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I refuse to live a powerless Christian life. I decree and declare that I am a weapon in the hands of the Almighty. Vengeance is locating my enemy. I speak vexation, confusion, and lack of direction to my enemy. As I pray, I congeal fire that disrupts, disarms, and destroys every work of the enemy, in Jesus’ mighty Name!
