Matthew 14:30 (KJV)
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
The force to achieve anything is hidden in focus. When your interest is entirely on your goal, it guides your conduct, choices, and moves. Whether in ministry or anything else, focus is key. When Jesus called Peter out of the boat, the Bible confirms he started to walk on water. I don’t know what happened to the molecular density of water, but when the Master calls you, all laws will be frozen. Unfortunately, when Peter looked at the wind, he started to sink. When he focused on Jesus, he stayed afloat, but the moment he turned away and looked at the wind, he began to sink.
Do not look at the wind; focus on your goal. Don't worry about what the media or your friends say. It’s all wind. Never allow negativity to steal your focus; stay on course. Haters and distractions are there, but don’t let them move you from your focus. Go for your calling and assignment, and you shall see the mighty hand of God starting this very moment in Jesus' Name.
