Genesis 1:2 (KJV)
…. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
A broody hen sits on its eggs to incubate them until they hatch. During that period, it is very defensive and protective of those eggs. Inside the egg, the yolk develops into a chick ready to hatch in due time.
In a similar manner, when you enter into your prayer room, you enter a period of incubation for your development. That’s why I always say prayer is not for informing God, but it is for your formation. It is a delicate time where you are being formed as you fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and when you have matured, you get that note of victory and hatch out of that predicament you had found yourself in! Don’t be in a rush to come out before He is done dealing with you. Allow Him to brood over your matter.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
As I retreat into my prayer closet, my life is being transformed, and I emerge victorious in every circumstance in Jesus' Name! Amen.
