Description

Hebrews 13:15 (KJV)

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

How often must one praise God? Is it once a week during Sunday services or when the ‘feeling’ comes on you? The scripture above holds a clear answer: it says praise God continually. Notice how it says ‘the sacrifice of praise’; that means you give Him praise in the good times and just as much in the bad times! It’s a sacrifice that is given continually; that is, daily give Him praise!

Praise simply means thanksgiving: thanking and exalting God’s Majesty and greatness, acknowledging Him in His acts of kindness for which you’re grateful and thankful. During this festive season, develop a greater desire to give God thanks, remembering how He gave us the ultimate sacrifice of His only Son, Our Dear Lord Jesus Christ. Sing new songs of thanksgiving to Him and praise Him daily. In this Year of Milk and Honey, He has kept you, and in this coming year, He shall continue to do so. Praise Him for that!
