1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
What a powerful scripture this is, praise God! Do you see what this is really saying brothers and sisters? Okay, let's break it down: God came looking for you specifically, by name, found you in the midst of darkness to bring you out of the dark space that surrounded you and pulled you to Himself – to His light! Oh, what grace!
How can you behave like everyone else when darkness has been repelled from you? How can sickness dare reside in you, yet you're living in God's marvellous light? Don't join the world in its faithless ideals. Have you ever heard people use the common slang expression ‘I'm lit?' For as long as they are still living in darkness, they’re not the lit ones; we are! Every person who received the Lord Jesus Christ left darkness and now resides in God’s light.
You've been called to show and share with the world that same light you inherited in Christ! Do it today!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I live in God's marvellous light and that makes me a unique being. Today is mine to conquer and I'm not accepting anything less than VICTORY! Amen.
