Philippians 2:12 (KJV)
"…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
People are hired for their differences and fired for their similarities. That simply means what you do that is unique and valuable sets you apart from the rest. That is a principle that increases your value, secures your position, and leads to promotion in any environment. It is true in your place of business, your ministry, and, most importantly, in your walk with the Lord.
God places a premium on value to the extent that He has His own performance rating and rewards system. There will come a time when you will be rewarded for what you do here on Earth. However, you do not need to wait until that time to evaluate your performance. You can start now. Ask yourself, Am I really doing what the Lord says I should do? Is the way I live reflecting God?
There are no grey areas in your answers to these questions. You are either yielding your vessel to God or to the devil. If you are hesitant and uncertain in your responses, it may be because the devil is using you. If you realize that is the case, change is required. Shift immediately! The good news is that you do not need to do this on your own. The Bible tells us that God works in you to want to do His will and to do His will. So, evaluate yourself with the confidence of knowing that whatever your answers are, God will help you to improve.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am sold out for God! Whatever He tells me to do, I am willing and empowered by His grace to do, in Jesus’ name!
