THE CLIMATE OF LOYALTY
1 Corinthians 4:15 (KJV)
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the Gospel.
If you live in a hot country, you may have longed for the snow-capped mountains and pristine white snow you've seen in pictures or movies. If you live in a cold climate, you may daydream of sitting on the beach or sailing in the sunshine under a beautiful cerulean sky. People who live in middling climates are usually content to remain there.
Your desire can be shaped by your climate, and we are provoked by what we are not. That is what makes mentorship relevant. A mentor is not there to agree with you but to accentuate the difference between your life and his. There is something even greater than a mentor: a spiritual father.
I am often asked, how do I become a spiritual son? Or how do I become a spiritual daughter? My answer is always the same. A spiritual father is the one whose revelation you live by. So, you do not need any special pronouncement. If you believe I am your father, act like a son or a daughter. I tell you this: it is paramount that you eliminate every distraction and tune into one voice in this last dispensation. Do not vacillate. Choose your extremity and stay hot! Remain loyal to the one God has sent to you. You will grow and begin to witness the glory of God in your life this year!
