TRULY LOVING
John 3:16 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
One of the attributes of God is LOVE, which by definition encompasses affection, friendship, fondness, adoration, passion, amity, feeling, tenderness, and devotion. God, in His mercy and grace, identifies with every word mentioned here, plus more. I wonder if you can really capture the essence of what God's love truly is to you. The power of love has been demonstrated in God's ability to freely give Jesus to us to redeem us back to Himself.
The Christian experience for some in this day and age is casually speaking of love. And in reality, there is little or no apparent show of love in character and deeds. The most contentious setting sometimes is found in the church. Congregations and church members sometimes are factional and tend to relate to each other on certain affinities.
There can be ethnic, social, racial, or economic closeness within the church; others become outsiders through members of the same congregation. Yet when we are cut, we all bleed red blood despite the colour of our skin. In a similar fashion, God's love is poured out to mankind regardless of where we live, our pigmentation, social status, or racial divide; think about it! Hallelujah!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am the embodiment of God's love. God's love is seen through me as I relate to and care for others. I cannot afford to live a life void of love. The Word of God is at work in me; therefore, I will always show the true nature of God through Love!
