Bee Love Slater was a young 23 year-old woman when she was murdered last year in Clewiston, FL. Her car was found burned and her body unrecognizable for several days until dental records could confirm her identity. With leads drying up, Bee Love Slater still does not have justice. 5 years prior on June 19, 2014, a woman named Yaz’min "Miss T" Shancez was 32-years-old when she was murdered very similar to Bee. The Human Rights Campaign identified at least 22 deaths of trans people in 2019 and Bee was the 18th.
