Description

In this week's episode I am chatting with Dr. Lynyetta Willis. Straight up - this is a powerful episode. It is all about breaking the patterns we have learned since childhood, and identifying the triggers that can set us off.

Lynyetta has developed the term "stable misery," that place where we can stay in less-than-awesome (or even unhappy) circumstances because they are familiar and feel "stable." These patterns are hard-wired in our brains (yay, it's not our fault!), and Lynyetta shares how we can in fact transform your triggers.

She also shares a powerful and painful experience from her 20s that led her to dive into this work, and how she took action to change the patterns she was caught in. She became passionate about changing the legacy she wanted to leave.

Lynyetta shares tangible, actionable steps and tools we can use immediately in our parenting. She is awesome. Her way of explaining what we're feeling, and how to get unstuck, is inspiring and motivating, without getting trapped in the struggles. It sounds like a heavy topic, but this episode is totally uplifting and joyful.

There is so much goodness in this episode. So many lessons. So many ah-ha moments.
