Description

When you go to the gym and look around, what do you see?

You see the equipment. You see the coaches and staff. You see the other members.

Now, look closer. Chances are that most of the other members look a lot like you.

That isn't a bad thing, but "normal" looks pretty different for everyone. Many people live with both permanent and/or temporary impairments. Things that affect them physically and even neurologically. You might not see a lot of those people in the gym. And that's something we want to change.

On today's "With That Being Said" Bradley and Sarah were joined by Roux member and Occupational Therapist, Joellen Desselles. They sit down to talk about Joellen's job as an OT, what adaptive and inclusive training looks like, Sarah's recent certification, the importance of functional training for all bodies, and much more.
