Hi, and welcome to the 'Luminaries In and Out of Sect' podcast, a show about the Moon and how astrologers embody and relate to it. My name is SP Hall and I'm your host.
In today’s episode on the Gemini Moon as the Sect Light I speak with the astrologer Suprasensory Shahir.
We talked about the placement of their Moon in 7th Whole Sign House and how that manifests as an abundance of close one-to-one relationships for Shair. We also talked about the importance of the nodes and nodal transits, a bit about the Moon’s role in Islam and mystical strains of Islam like Sufism, the myth of Persephone as it relates to Hecate and the Moon, the divine protection that can come with worldly rejection (and my continued struggles with that), the myth of Castor and Pollux as it relates to Gemini, as well as Gemini’s mutable air nature, which is often very social and intellectual. We also talk about the common, versatile nature of Mercury and how that relates to temperament. Shahir and I discuss common Tarot correspondences with the decans of Gemini as well as the Lunar Mansion that fall in Gemini.
