We are so thankful Kerri Leach and Lindsay Locasto took some time to share their stories with us. Both women lost their siblings to the disease of addiction. Through their grief they connected with one another and started a group called 7 Sisters. The work of 7 Sisters is so inspiring. Their mission is to bring opioid awareness to the community through education and informative opportunities to eliminate the stigma of addiction and advocate for recovery options.
In this episode we talk about their family dynamics and the advice they have for others experiencing a similar situation. We also learn more about the amazing work 7 Sisters does, such as hosting local events and monthly family meetings moderated by a therapist. For more information on all the amazing things 7 Sisters is doing please visit their Facebook page.
