Description

Love is a universal concept that’s existential to all living beings – yet one that can be too complex to define.

But did you know that according to Ancient Greek culture and language, there is not only one, but 6 different categories of ‘love’?

In this episode of the Goddess of Technology podcast, I’m taking you – Greek goddess – on a journey through the 6 different Ancient Greek concepts for love: agápē (pronunciation: ‘uh-GAH-peh’), érōs (pronunciation: ‘EH-ros’), philía (pronunciation: ‘fee-LEE-uh’), philautía (pronunciation: ‘fee-LAW-tee-uh’), storgē (pronunciation: ‘STOR-geh’), and xenía (pronunciation: ‘zeh-NEE-uh’).

Each one of these concepts represents a unique form of love that can help us deepen our understanding of ourselves and our relationships with other fellow human beings and our environment.

Discover the fascinating origin and evolution of these historical, yet timeless concepts, how they apply to different kinds of relationships and interactions in different areas of life, and how you can leverage these insights in your personal growth journey.

I’d be excited to learn about your opinion on and about your personal experience with the 6 different concepts of love. I’m inviting you to share your story via the contact form linked in the general podcast description. Let’s keep spreading some love, beautiful!
