This message takes us on a profound journey through the stages of pursuing a deeper relationship with God and how to access the "more" He has for each of us.
Using the story of Elijah and Elisha as a parallel, we learn that to receive a 'double portion' of God's spirit, we must progress through key spiritual places: Gilgal, a place of revelation and decision; Bethel, where we encounter God and are equipped; Jericho, where we face desperation and repentance; and finally the Jordan, a place of fulfillment in God's presence.
Along the way, we are challenged to act on God's revelations, move beyond emotions and past experiences, turn from sin, and cultivate a genuine zeal for God. The journey requires persistence and whole-hearted pursuit, but leads us to discover that God Himself is the greatest prize and portion for our lives.
