We make and meet our characters! Dialect provides us with prompts, and we put them in the world. Meet the precocious Facio Pacem, the hafling of many many muffins (and of generous muffin top); Quinmarris, the village crazy with many contraptions … and pulleys; Lefty, who brings people what they need, having been here longer than all; and Sir the Quarry (Roan), the austere electric Harengon who’s risen on her haunches to run the island, having left her borough long ago for a life of adventure on the sea. And last but not least, we find our name: Hel’mith, named by the souls stuck here at the edge of the world.
