It’s the truth about Israel and the truth about Israel’s darkest day, and it is the first ‘conservative’ play ever to be performed on the stage at the Kennedy Center. And you can thank President Trump’s takeover of the venue for the change.
It will be staged as a dramatized reading in the iconic Terrace Theater... intimate, raw, and unforgettable.
The New York Post said OCTOBER 7 was "Spellbinding..powerful and a sanctuary for truth. It breathes life into characters that will hopefully inspire people…When you can put yourself in the shoes of what these people went through, that's what creates empathy. That's very important ... right now in this country, regardless of your politics."
For those who don’t know, we went to Israel after the October 7 massacres, and interviewed people who survived the attacks, were bereaved or fought back and saved lives. OCTOBER 7 ran for six weeks off-broadway, then we toured the play at America’s elite colleges and universities from Princeton to UCLA, which had become hubs of intimidation and anti-semitism.
Legal legend Alan Dershowitz came on the show to talk about the impact this play had on him as well as the impact it still has in today’s toxic environment of festering anti-semitism.
