We have our own Jewish New Year, but we actually do celebrate the new year of the nations as well. Psalm 87 states: "...GOD reckons by the scripts of the nations..." Which our rabbis interpreted to mean that GOD also reckons the civil calendar. Let's welcome in 2024 to be a year of peace and joy!
