During Lord Mahaveer's time, no one was poor or hungry.
Everyone was happy and content.
Because he gave the principle of Self-created limit for assets and consumption for everyone.
Society in his time was not suffering from the fallacies of capitalism and communism.
It was not obsessed with ownership at minimum or maximum or limitless.
Everyone was self-disciplined and decided how much he/she need to lead the life comfortably and beyond that was considered to be not belonging to him /her . Excess was always used for societal welfare and community welfare.
Today's principle of CSR look like something in this direction but not followed due to obsession for accumulation without limit and obsession for ownership on everything to eliminate the fear of losing or missing something.
How true the Economics of Lord Mahaveer is in current time and we have observed the truthfulness of life in the "lockdown" period.
