Description

Hilliard Joshua Meeks is a filmmaker and actor out of San Diego, CA. He was born and raised in San Jose, CA where he attended San Jose State’s Radio Televisionand Film program. Within his last semester at San Jose State University, Hilliard felt the call to join the military. After serving in the Marine Corps for 6 years, Hilliard decided to return to his dream as a filmmaker and actor, this time at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa’s Academy of Creative Media program. While attending UH Mānoa, Hilliard studied under Sally Jackson, a notable casting director and revered acting coach. Hilliard has been cast in feature films such as the Netflix original Triple Frontier, and Hawaii’s first island-made feature film Go For Broke. Hilliard has written and directed the independent short Breathe, Slow, Steady, Squeeze that is currently in the film festival circuit, and more recently he has directed the proof of concept Cyclone Country soon to premiere in film festivals nationwide. Currently, Hilliard is developing more television proof of concepts that will be shown locally in San Diego. Hilliard is an active SAG member and auditions regularly.
