As a kid, I always associated August with the end of summer and back-to-school time. I would get excited about shopping for school shoes and supplies like notebooks and Trapper Keepers--in large part because I attended Catholic School and wore a uniform so my biggest wardrobe choices were what color oxford shirt and knee socks to wear. So it's only fitting that I schedule guests for the month of August who are associated with education.

I am pleased and privileged to bring you this week's conversation with Dr. Katie Leonard, president of Johnson College (https://johnson.edu/) in Scranton, PA.

As always, the conversation was jam-packed. We covered everything from removing the stigma around two-year schools, to implementing a program to increase the amount of women in male-dominated fields, to what Dr. Leonard is most proud of overseeing at JC, to what concerts she attended recently. There was a time when she wanted to work on MTV, after all!

As always, I like to say that I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart and the bottom of my wine glass.
