We may not be shaking hands or hugging as much these days, but love is still in the air and can be felt.
The Greek word Eros describes the passionate love felt between people who love one another in a romantic way and that is typically what Valentine's Day focuses on, but as we know, there are many kinds of love...of family, friends, community--WINE! This week, my guest Julie Esty, a local historian in Scranton, PA, (where this podcast is produced) shares tales of romance from this region that she researched from many, many, years ago. Hear about the Hat Pin Mystery, the Last Train Ride for Two Lovers and The Come-hither Cloth.
