Description

When I attended high school in the late 80s I was expected to take honors courses and go to college because I was “academically smart.”  Never mind the fact that I thought it would be useful to take a typing course. Sorry. Nope. That was in the business track and
I was in the honors track. No can do.

Thankfully, students have many more options today. But that doesn’t mean it’s any easier.  High schoolers often feel overwhelmed about what courses to take and what to do after graduation.

Leah Leverich is working to help young people through her Decision Day podcast, a resource she says she wishes she had when she was graduating high school in 2022.  Her podcast guests share their expertise on a variety of topics including career exploration, finances, resume writing and much more.

Tune in to this week’s conversation to learn why Leah chose to skip college and start working and how she is informing young people so they choose the path that’s right for them.
