Description

Joining me (Jeannine Luby) this week on my podcast, is my favorite historian/crocheter/ukulele player and all-around cool chick Julie Esty. She shares snippets of stories about women of yesteryear from NEPA who illustrated great strength and independence; we also talk about some fabulous local women of today and our shared belief that we are stronger together. Let's support one another. Share what we know. Extend a hand to help other women up. We ARE stronger together.

You might recognize Julie's name because she is a serial guest on this podcast and she was the subject of the award-winning 2020 film "Julie and The Dearly Departed Players" by Scranton Films that recent podcast guest Luz Cabrales spoke about.  View the trailer for this film at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlMKVCtEIFw.  And watch for Julie leading the annual Dunmore Cemetery Tour with her Dearly Departed Players, in October of 2023.
