Well Hello New Year!
I hope you all had some good times throughout this past holiday season.
As we open the door to 2024, I hope you're being kind to yourself and not feeling too much pressure with the whole "new year new you" frenzy. You're awesome! Whenever you're ready to attempt whatever changes you want to make for the You that you are to be tweaked a bit, I'm sure you'll do just great. And remember that faltering along the way is all part of it.
While I haven't made resolutions for the New Year per se, I have set the goal of "plogging" two to three times per week, which is picking up litter while out for a run/walk. I'll be kept quite busy as there is a lot of litter strewn throughout NEPA. I share a bit about that this week, along with the impact that the Keep America Beautiful (Crying Indian) commercial had on me in the 70s. While effective, this commercial later created controversy.
