This week's episode might be difficult for some to listen to, but we need to talk about difficult things in life so that we can heal and prevent more trauma.
Some days it doesn't feel like we've come as far as we think we have. Because there is still a stigma surrounding mental health. We need to talk about mental health and talk about suicide so that we can prevent it. In this week's episode, my guest Brittany Walter opens up about her recovery after two suicide attempts and the loss of her brother to suicide. She talks about the work she is doing on herself and the self-care that she practices, along with the importance of setting boundaries, even when it means spending less time with family members or others who are not supportive to you and your health.
