Throughout the month of August you have had the opportunity to hear from amazing women speaking on the theme of education. This week might feel like a bit of departure but I believe it is important to educate people on the value of laughter and what the heck laughter yoga really is. 

I've been offering it through my business Laugh to Live! since 2006 but it still needs a bit more explanation.  Most people have heard the expression "Laughter is the best medicine," but it might mean nothing more than a cute saying or cliche.  I would love for people to be open to hearing about the extensive research that has been done that indicates just how powerful laughter can be to help us manage stress and so much more. So I'm sharing an episode of a podcast I appeared on recently, talking all about the power of laughter, my background and what led me to explore this enough to start a business: Laugh to Live! and dedicate much of my life to helping people laugh.  Oh, and you'll hear about my obsession with keeping squirrels off my bird feeders, which has certainly generated lots of cursing, and laughing from me through the years!
