Trying to help the economy and reduce carbon emissions, President Obama signed into law the “Cash for Clunkers” program which gave money to people for trading their gas guzzlers in for new more energy efficient cars. The program was a complete dud. The Biden administration is thinking about doing it again! This time it will pay you to trade your gas engine car in for a battery powered car.
