Government contractors make more money than anyone. One example is the poverty programs started under LBJ. 70% of monies earmarked for the poor goes to the providers of the services, not those in need. The left was quick to go after Bush after the Iraq war when Haliburton was given contracts to rebuild. Provides for illegal immigrants is another lucrative area for government contractors. The providers have no incentive to eliminate the problems since they would lose money.
