While most Americans were eating turkey and celebrating Thanksgiving Day, Native Americans were having an “Unthanksgiving Day” at Alcatraz in San Francisco. Colin Kaepernick was the inspirational negative speaker for the event. The trail of tears was immoral, but this event was just sad. Indians have just as much opportunity in America today as anyone else.
