Jorge Ramos, a believer in open borders, wrote an op-ed in the New York Times titled, “Trump Gets His Wish. Mexico is Now the Wall.” His point is that Mexico is stopping much of illegal immigration at their border with Guatemala, policing the border with the US, and they are paying for it. Trump ran on building the wall and it should be a key theme in the 2020 election. There are still issues at the border with illegal immigrants who are criminals or unaccompanied children.
