After the devastation of WWI, the leaders of the world (including Woodrow Wilson, Clemenceau, Orlando, and Lloyd George) met to make sure this never happened again. All their efforts simply opened the door to Hitler and WWII, the Yugoslavian mess, and a century of Middle East turmoil. The lesson for us is Government or socialism is not the answer.
