Every electoral college vote from DC has gone to democrats. African-Americans make up 47% of the population of Washington DC. The population is 41% white. Blacks vote over 90% democrat every election. Almost a third of the population in DC is government employees. They vote 90% for democrats. Add the unions, government contractors, lobbyists, and press and you have a solid democratic stronghold in the nation's capital.
