After Jesus' dinner in Bethany, the crowd hears he is coming to Jerusalem. They are anticipating Jesus coming in power and authority but instead see him riding the foal of a donkey. Jesus comes as a king, but not the king they were hoping for. In our lives, we also desire greatness, but Jesus calls us to a life of humility and service.
