Wow, so much nonsense has happened in the space of a week, but we couldn't start without recognising the 75th anniversary of the HMT Empire Windrush, which carried 800 West Indian passengers from the Caribbean to the UK on the 22nd of June 1948. But what about the mess, you ask? Well, we couldn't ignore the recent revelations of the Partygate scandal, including a leaked video of Conservative MPs breaking their own Covid restrictions by having the most unseasoned party of 2020. Then, we unpacked the folly of the rich; the Titan submersible and its unfortunate demise, killing all five passengers, on its journey to explore the wreckage of the Titanic. What is this obsession with a boat that sank over 100 years ago...is everyone OK?
