I enjoyed speaking to my Grandaddy about his joys and pains. From a childhood of knowing Muhammad Ali to a 25 year veteran, turns out he's pretty cool. A lot of what we talked about was jarring and took me off guard. From his time of growing up in segregation to how he over came many obstacles with his mind and not his fist. There is much wisdom there and I'm grateful to have spoke with him.
