On a special episode of this week’s Daily Orange Podcast, reporters walk through stories of surrounding the 1988 tragedy of Pan Am flight 103. Thirty-five SU study-abroad students lost their lives when returning home from a semester in London. Host Ghael Fobes spoke with asst. news editor Gabe Stern (“FULFILLED: Rachel Lange finds deeper meaning to Remembrance Week a decade after visiting memorial”), staff writer Chris Hippensteel (“Rowan Chisholm looks to represent hometown as Lockerbie Scholar”) and senior staff writer Jordan Muller (“BY CHANCE: Students who switched tickets escaped the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing”). Special thanks to our asst. producer Elizabeth Kauma and co-digital editors Kevin Camelo and Amy Nakamura.
