FLOYD NORMAN, Disney's first African-American animator, joins me to discuss the new documentary covering his life, Floyd Norman: An Animated Life. Directed by Michael Fiore & Erik Sharkey, the film covers the many arcs Norman has had in his long life; from Disney to educational filmmaking to combating ageism in an ever-changing industry. He has had a fun and storied life, and the documentary bleeds through with that optimism. Such a great guy!
