So… I got in a car accident yesterday…

Here’s what happened… Lincoln and I were driving down HWY 60 on our way to teach a concealed carry course at our Brandon office…
I’m not sure why…
But traffic was REALLY BAD…
I took my eyes off the road for a microsecond…
CRASH…
I smashed right into the back of another car…
I can’t believe I made such a simple mistake… I was soooo stupid…
What’s crazy is that I drive a lot… This means I should have enough experience driving to prevent things like this from happening…
Last night as I was thinking about the stress I caused for the man I hit…
How my insurance is going to skyrocket…
I had a thought…
If I could make such a simple mistake performing a task that I do every day…
How much easier is it to make a mistake during a self-defense situation…
Most people never think they will be the victims of a violent attack…
And when they are… They are completely unprepared…
I can’t afford to make a mistake that would leave my family vulnerable or land me in prison…
