I wanted to ask you a question, if that is ok. The question is if the economy is doing so well then why are we all struggling? Why is everyone considering starting an Onlyfans or selling their blood, or a kidney just to buy a gallon of milk? Why does stripping your own home of copper wiring suddenly seem like a logical remedy for our money woes? The bizarre thing about it is that we keep being told that the economy is actually doing well, unemployment is down, jobs are everywhere, yet people can’t live. So I decided to look into it, well as much as my ADHD brain would allow. And so I decided to start this Coffee And A Car Ride series “Extra Duty”. On this series, I will examine what people are doing to stay alive in a society strapped for cash but flush with employment. But rather than explain any further let’s jump right this quagmire, and start off with this thought provoking talk with a someone who did exactly what I am talking about. She took her side hustle and she made it her main job. And she is thriving. Let’s stop there, and give it a listen.
