Episode 94 is a fun one! We’re exploring Shenandoah National Park and New River Gorge National Park - the newest national park in the United States. Since they are so close together you can couple these two into a weekend trip and see the best of both parks!

This east coast adventure features wild white water rafting, hiking, gorgeous overlooks, and road tripping through two states during a gasoline shortage.

• Where is Shenandoah National Park? Located among the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia.
• Where to stay in Shenandoah National Park? We didn’t stay in the park. We actually used Williamsburg, VA as our hub for a week-long East Coast trip exploring several national parks and cities. We highly recommend doing this!
• What to do in Shenandoah National Park? There are tons of things to do in Shenandoah National Park! We only spent one day here and we hiked Old Rag Mountain and drove the Skyridge Parkway.
• Where is New River Gorge National Park? Located in South East West Virginia
• Where to stay in New River Gorge National Park? Now that we've been back to the park, we'd recommend staying at River Expeditions.
• Looking for things to do in New River Gorge National Park? New River Gorge white water rafting of course! You cannot visit this gorgeous green park without seeing it by raft and it's such a fun and wild ride! The park also has great viewpoints of the bridge and hiking.
