Hello my loves,
Welcome to todays episode. I was super nervous to record, & launch this episode. As you know this show is all about honesty, and speaking your truth, in the most vulnerable parts of your life. So I decided as I turn from 32 to 33, that episode 33 feels right for me to share why I currently record, and film in my childhood bedroom.
From flying back to staying at my parents house at of the age of 32, back in my single bed, through to going viral on Youtube after a Swingers Party, to running out of money, and being single at this age, o and yes for getting into a Cult (lasting there for a day) . Pretty much at the age of 32, deemed by society as somewhat a 'failure'. For me, this has taken a long time, and something I am now proud of for myself. Is that this time has been the core foundations in myself, building Working Under Pleasure Media, my health, and my values, & connecting with the right people, and most importantly myself.
And for anyone out there who is looking to make a big pivot in their life, or feels super trapped, and wants to do something new, however you feel that you are "too old" or have some other story associated with that, as to why you can't do what you want to do, then this episode is for you.
I touch upon the Personal Growth world, and how deeming yourself as broken, is a very unhealthy route to go down. How being proud of who you are, for being you, is the most healthiest, and happiest place to be. F*ck following the stigma around age, and what people think you should do, and be. Instead by following your heart, having a plan, is all you really need.
