3 years in a row now Jacksonville Jaguars opening day starting Q.B. will be new. In 2018 it was Blake Bortles, last year it was Nick Foles (for only 11 plays) and this year it'll be Gardner Minshew II. Here's the difference between Foles & Bortles in previous years. Minshew II is tougher, arguably more talented & stronger out of the previous two starters even if his size (6"1, 225 lbs) says otherwise. Mike Glennon was brought in to battle incumbent backup Joshua Dobbs for the #2 spot & this years 6th Q.B. pick for the Jags Jake Luton (Oregan State pac-12) will be the 3rd string quarterback for the Jags. The loser between Glennon & Dobbs may be out of a job, with the Jags anyway........stay tuned!
