If and when this season starts, a former franchise Q.B. himself Jameis Winston (5,000 yds in 2019) is the immediate backup to Drew Brees. Bridgewater left to become the Carolina Panthers starter for this year. Brees a 20 year NFL veteran 2006-present has Taysom Hill as a 3rd stringer if Winston gets hurt.
