In this talk I compare the concepts of empathy and sympathy in relation to compassion and show many examples where we over-sympathize in a way that actually doesn't help the other. Examples are given from different contexts about different ways of 'doing' compassion. The talk concludes with practical tips how you can love and empower others in a deep way.
