Welcome back to episode five of Talking Pictures! Tonight’s show saw Dave and Evan take another respite from Letterboxd’s lauded list of films and talk the complete works of one of the preeminent filmmakers of our generation, Jonathan Glazer.
We went chronologically, first basking in 2000’s “Sexy Beast” (30:11), then experiencing 2004’s “Birth” (43:32), later shedding our layers for 2013’s “Under the Skin” (58:30), and finally residing in 2023’s “The Zone of Interest” (01:03:13).
