Love Like Jackson funds play, music and art therapy and trauma informed yoga for children whose sibling has died. Working to take both the financial barrier away and removing the guesswork of finding a therapist who specializes in helping grieving siblings is one of the most important aspects of what Love Like Jackson is able to do.
The organization does other things as well, like offering therapy services to grieving parents, placing place buddy benches at local elementary schools, offering Grief Bags to families, which include books about grief/loss for children and books for parents and resources on how to talk to your child about the death of their sibling, and more.
We all wish there was no need for such an organization, but because we know just how important the offering of therapy for grieving siblings is, Love Like Jackson will continue to do this hard/important work.
