A look at Peter in (Matthews 14:22-31) how by faith stepped out of the ship and walked on water. Something happened that caused Peter to begin to sink. Jesus Christ asked, what caused you to doubt? Peter was affected by the fear being amongst the disciples when they saw Jesus walking toward them, and they thought it was a ghost. Trauma can alter our emotions to cause anxiety and displace faith to create doubt and unbelief. Very important that we don't let our environment affect our perspective concerning our faith to waiver trusting in God.
